Laura's first job was her own wedding... At the time she was working in health care, helping people make life and death decisions. Though working on her wedding flowers made her realize it was not a job for amateurs (she wishes she had hired a professional), it did wake up in her the desire to learn. Laura understood she wanted to work in a field that was made of beauty and joy. 16 years later, Laura is a sought after designer for weddings, movie sets and corporate clients. Her previous work has given her the skills of quickly understanding her client's vision and minimizing the stress of planning an event. Her professionalism and calm when working onsite is unique and results in satisfied customers and repeat business. Laura infuses all her work with her unique style, however her main focus is always translating the client's vision into her arrangements. Every job is completely custom made to her client's taste and preference.She enjoys creating for individual's personal events as well as for top NY restaurants, Warner Bros., fashion designers etc... She has a certificate in floral design from Parson's School of Design, and has studied at the Ohara School of Ikebana in New York City.
